but you know what I’ve observed about Top Gear?
they consistently stand on the outside edge of Gambon corner and frequently yell “BACK UP!” as some hooligan in a budget car flies towards them.

I do quite enjoy the challenge where they buy a cheap sports car and take it on the autobahn BEFORE doing the safety inspection and find Hammond’s was just deadly scrap

I highly recommend the Ben Collins/The Stig’s book The Man in The White Suit ( https://www.amazon.com/Man-White-Suit-Ben-Collins/dp/000733169X ) He talks about this. They know it’s dangerous. They do it anyway. The cameramen want the good shots.
