(Repost for weekend crowd) Since I no longer have a bike of my own I’ve been doing more writing than riding. And because Lanesplitter is as much of a ghost town as HD showrooms this year I’m sharing the content with Oppo!

I’ve written a two things: an article about dealing with motorcycle theft, and a 3-part series about getting into riding. Links are below. I use Wordpress because it’s over 9000 times easier to maintain and create content than in Kinja. This is a “just for fun” thing I do in my spare time; comments appreciated.

That’d be a good solution but it doesn’t look like Jalopnik is prioritizing that. There was the Harley stuff and some other review from a while back but otherwise it’s video clips of crashes and stuff.

also, lanesplitter DID talk to me...but it came off as very...lets get you to do like 5 ‘trial’ pieces for us, and we wont pay you at all and let you go.

Exactly. I would have been fine woth a reduced rate. But they wanted “trial” pieces. After they shared my stuff and knew how I wrote. That set off alarm bells.

Peter has, like, 1000000 bikes and here you are with none.

What we need is motorbike equality. And I say that as an owner of two. No more should the bourgeoisie be allowed to hoard motorbikes while those without go ride-less.

Hahaha! Wellll technically... Read my other post, I just picked up a new bike today. But still that only brings me to 1.

Just stopped by to say hi. Looks to me like Lanesplitter has officially been killed off and everything is /motorcycles now. I’d love to create some content if you’re still into it.

Sure, I’m still working on the blog above but I’ve moved it to http://derailedblog.com/ . What did you have in mind? I don’t like Kinja as a platform because it’s buggy and has no features.
