That’s what I thought. USB 1.0 devices don’t really exist, and even if it did, it’s barely usable at 1.5 Mbps on the physical link.

There were a few devices but companies didn’t really start to develop USB hardware until it was a native feature in Windows 98. Support for USB was added to Windows 95 but it happened late in the OS’s life and the update was only distributed to OEMs for installation on new PCs.

Ah... OSR2. I still remember that. Had to find bootleg copies to support FAT32.
