Just got back from the doc with my youngest, three staples to the back of the head. Safety EB110...
Edit: my 3 Boys were all wrestling. The youngest got pushed backwards hard and cracked his head on the coffee table

Nice one. Something to brag about in kindergarden!

Too bad it wasn’t a month later and on the forehead. It would’ve made for an awesome Halloween costume.

Did nearly the same injury to myself by bumping my head against a feeding machine (put a dime in, feed a goat) after playing with said goat thru a fence. No staples, they sealed it up with a butterfly. One day, when I’ve lost more hair, the scar will be visible.

You should’ve seen the other guy!

Yikes! Glad he’s ok now - a few staples, an ice cream cone, and probably a badge of honor at school tomorrow.

And my boys wonder why I tell them not to wrestle in the living room....
I guess some lessons are best learned empirically. Glad he’s okay. Scalps bleed like crazy though.

Also, my brother still has a scar on his scalp from where I hit him in the head with a brick when we were kids. It showed up first when he got his head shaved for basic training.

Nice! That’ll be a great scar that will confuse the barber for the rest of his life.
I have one in pretty much the same spot. Was wrestling with my sister when I was 5 (she was 8) and she pretty much tossed me into the pointy end at the base of a rocking chair.
Apparently a lot of blood.
Scars give good stories :D

Aww, poor little guy. I’ve got 3 boys as well, the youngest is 15 months but he gets right in there and scraps with the other two like a champ. Glad your guy is okay. And yeah scars are cool when the dust settles and the bloods all cleaned up.

Staples? They use glue for this sort of thing down here these days...
The little bloke hasn’t tested the hospital system as yet...not since his birth nearly 8 years ago anyway.
I still seem to get stitches...buts that’s mostly on my hands. And my side when I run more than 50 feet.

I’ve had staples once and super glue once. Both sucked, both were in 4th grade, and I have both scars on my head to prove it still.

he’ll be fine.
one of those things to be expected with boys.
i was no different growing up being the youngest of 4 boys.
