yesterday I rebuilt the lower roller drive-train and tensioner on my New Idea 483 baler, but i forgot to take pics... Today I’m rebuilding the Delco Si10 internally regulated alternator that replaced the separate regulator and alternator on the Zetor...
now it puts out 14.6 volts even at idle and doesn’t spike to 15.7 at 2000rpm! Woot! My battery should be much happier now.
Pay no attention the alternator idiot light... That stays on permanently since i pulled out the external voltage reg... I’ll get around to either wiring it correctly for the internal regulated alternator, or disconnect it sooner or later.... Probably later...

If you decide you don’t feel like rebuilding it, 10Si’s are fairly cheap ($50-60) from Advance/AutoZone.

let’s put it this way: If Vermont goes ahead with Legalization, our cash crop may change a little ;)
