...turning you into shit. Literally.
Soon iPhone X users will have piles of poop winking at each other and insulting one another.

There are people who will buy this phone specifically because it does this.
I don’t ever want to meet those people.

Get Scoob to explain to you.

Sounds like a worthless thing to put effort into, but my kid will love it. Apple is always about the eye candy anyway.

Call me a hater, but this is the single worst use of facial mapping tech I’ve ever seen.

Oh no, it’s stupid. I think we’re in agreement here.

Plenty of hate here, but there is a super nifty set of sensors/cameras on the front of that phone.

TechCrunch says basically it’s a Kinect.
But you know the target audience of this phone will end up just using it for iMessage, nothing else... so what’s the point really.

Progress? Obviously this particular feature is pretty useless, but look how popular those dumb snapchat filters are. Augmented reality has so many cool possibilities, and the hardware is important even if it’s stupid at first. I work with a few companies that are doing really cool things with AR/Facial recognition.

You’re talking to someone who still thinks Blackberry is a thing.
