Was cruising home from work yesterday when out of nowhere ADVANCETRAC SERVICE message comes on, drive mode selection became unavailable, and the ABS light came on. The airbag light has come on too, and I can’t change my steering mode with wonky feeling power steering.

Guess I’m going to the dealership tomorrow....of course my warranty just expired at 36,000 miles.

That’s what I’m hoping for. I’m also hoping the dealer isn’t a dick and honors the bumper to bumper warranty since I’m only 150 miles out of it.

Stated symptoms make me think steering angle sensor or steering torque sensor

If you used that dealership for service in the past, a lot of times they will help you out if you are just out of warranty. Usually 1,000 or so after the comprehensive period.

Also, on most Fords, there is a 5 year / 60,000 mile powertrain warranty just in case this is related to that.

2015+ Mustangs. The marketing story from Ford is that the Mustang supposedly isn’t named after the horse but after the P-51 Mustang fighter so they decided to give it airplane cockpit cues like “Ground Speed”
