If I remember from seeing this on YouTube a while back, it’s a regular 13 speed, he just replaced his splitter and range buttons with sticks

1. Where’s your old icon?
2. Trucks, man. The whole shift pattern looks more like a WW2-era cipher.

That simultaneously makes perfect sense and no sense whatsoever (because why would you do that)

truck transmissions can be complicated, but I think that shift pattern shown above was made as a Fast & Furious joke.

Yeah, I was pretty sure the shift pattern wasn’t legit. It’s too erratic

All that taking-his-hands-completely-off-of-the-wheel-to-work-the-levers is freaking me out. I don’t know if this transmission needs two hands to operate, or if he’s just showing off. My guess is, that’s probably the smoothest way to operate it without grinding gears.

Because he wants to look cool, but not enough that he’s gonna buy an old truck with two gearboxes. That’s my best guess

Correct. And no load so he’s skipping gears.
Stick on the right is high/low range.
Stick on the left is the splitter box.
Stick in the middle is for the trans.
So he’s leaving in like 3rd, shifting to 4th, then moving to high range and 5th gear and splitting 5-8.
