Plastic trim.
Wing mirrors.
Bumpers.

Probably more common than you’d think. Lots of people chose it because it covers just about anything and hides pinstriping/scratching very well.
IMO, it adds too much weight, looks poor, and good luck chipping that crap off to straighten a body panel.

One of my friends bought a truck that was bed lined...only problem is whoever did it did a piss poor job and it looks like shit in around the doors. He did get a good deal on the truck though...it’s a diesel and he could still probably sell it for more than he paid for it after a few years and like 40000 miles.

Oh, geez - I wonder if they even considered what would happen if any body work was needed.

Yeah just never seen it done so thoroughly.

At least it isn’t bright orange.

Can’t find the link, but I’ve seen a few forum threads of people grinding/wire wheeling it off, straightening the body panel, and re-rolling it. I recall thinking it was an absurd amount of labor and it’s probably easier to find a replacement panel if possible.

I haven’t seen it on a Land Cruiser before, but I’ve seen a handful of Wranglers that have been 100% covered.

They made an entire truck look like an 80's bedroom ceiling. Wow. I don’t even know how I feel about this.

That poor 60 :/

Not bad, but I’m a shiny paint guy so it would drive me crazy.
Tom Cruiser wore it better;

I despise rhinolined trucks. They look crappy, it makes them impossible to salvage (if it ever was) and it adds so much unnecessary weight. That stuff is heavy!

Ugh I can’t stand people who use Bed liner as painy

Bad. You should feel bad about this.

I will never understand this.

You don’t know that it deserves better.

When you need your door panels to be more abrasive there is really only once choice.

its true, you can’t put a value on lump.

At least it’s painted, and not just grayish black

How do you figure? The way 60 prices are going these days if it runs and drives its still worth good amount even with some rust issues.
And I may be biased but all Cruisers deserve better.

I don’t dislike the idea, if you plan on beating on the truck or expect repeated branch scratches, but at least do it right.
