Just shy of 120 mph on the banking. Ran a 63.4xx” in the time trial portion of the day. There were 20 of us and after just two lapping sessions we went to open track! I had the track at one point to myself for almost 15 minutes. I drove over 100 miles on sat on track...what a day.

Seriously though. We stayed down the road in Jim Thorpe. Was a little nicer.

What group did you run with there? I am trying to do a track day at Pocono before I move in mid October but havent seen anything on motorsportreg. Not sure where else to generally find track days.

Lol, I am sure just a little bit.

Ner and cart. We are from ct and won’t unfortunately be back until next year when we rent circuitous maximus.

We have an event at Thompson motor sports park coming up in three weeks if you are up for the drive

Ahh yeah I did see the CART event at Thompson. Definitely thinking about that, I make long drives all the time for autocross. No issue doing it for a track day! Its only like 4 hours or so there. I’d definitely like to go to that one if I can pass tech.

Well the group is awesome and welcoming. They want to maximize fun safety and track time. We also do a time trial at the end to see what you learned!! Plus there will be plenty o miatas!

Is the only way to register to mail in the form? That seemed like an archaic way to do it when I looked at the website lol.

HA no. You can just download that and email it in. We don’t register with motorsports reg. We are very informal. If you bring money you’re good with us

Does registration for that event usually fill up? Just curious since my car is going into the body shop for about a week but it might take longer. If I get it on time, I’d definitely like to still try and register a few days before the event.
Or I just find a rental with a 4x100 bolt pattern. Hyundai Accent on 100TW tires sounds like fun on the track lol.

I think you’ll be fine. I’ll ask at autocross how many entries have signed up. I don’t believe we’ll be overfull.

Well the bigger problem might be my harness setup. I came to the conclusion that its not gonna work as is. I have a harness bar being made but it will take about 2 weeks plus a couple days to ship. Damn Boss Frog going out of business!
Unless I can run a stock seat belt with an aftermarket seat. But that seems to be frowned upon lol.

I have run a race seat with standard seatbelt all season, at several scca events. Not saying it’s ok just that no one has bothered me yet!

Hmm, I wonder if it would matter with my car being a convertible? I mean as long as I pass a broomstick test, nobody will complain I guess. Hoping to get my car back from the body shop on time to sign up!
