What’s not to like? Would make a great summer cruiser.

Where did this whole thing of mounting horns on the front of Cadillacs come from? A Google search doesn’t tell me anything.

The horns are stupid.
And I love it.

It came to my mind while watching walker Texas ranger and watching chuck Norris chase down a bad guy driving a blue eldorado with bull horns.
I have another burner, try to guess it!

Wait, that second one. Is that an El Camino bed?
I NEED IT!

First I recall was Boss Hogg’s car in Dukes of Hazzard - I think that’s the white one in the OP.
But I think it started before that.

Our friendly squirrel here is actually wondering where the bull horns on the Cadillac thing came from to begin with. There must be some story.

Boss Hog, from Dukes of Hazzard, always drove a white horned Cadillac.

I occasionally keep an eye out for an old Cadillac or Lincoln flower car from a funeral company. They pop-up on ebay from time to time. Some even have stainless steel inside the bed so no need to worry about rust.
They did actually sell a few el camino style cars straight through Cadillac dealers in 1976 called the Mirage, but they only made around 200 so on the rare occasion you see one they are expensive.

Google and Wikipedia have nothing. The first I remember was Boss Hogg’s car in Dukes of hazzard, like WilliamsSW said. I think it was a late 60's early 70's form of western bling. Like truck nuts but more tasteful.

I think this is a fantastic idea!
You can even buy them on Amazon.
With some truck nuts, you would have a fine paring.

You’ll have to get a suit like this, too - if you’re going to do it, you need to totally commit to the look.

on the other hand, the most notable driver of a Caddy so equipped was one Jefferson Davis “Boss” Hogg.

If it’s going to be like the first photo prepare to dress like Boss Hogg from Dukes of Hazzard
