I just straight up gave up getting those reflections and body lines to resolve properly. This is not an improvement.

I’m actually reminded a bit of the Super GT version, which does have a much more level beltline:

I’m pretty sure that an electrical fire would make it better.

I wish they would have just ditched the integrated spoiler in the middle and gone all-in on tail fins.

I love the Super GT Prius.
In an alternate universe, Toyota’s F1 team survived to the KERS era.

This make me wonder why there isn’t a full on sedan in the Prius line up.

Why is this a thing. Who said “you know which market segment we should try to capture with our planet saver? Racing enthusiasts” yep really good idea.

I actually like I better, not much, but still. Either way it’s a hideous monstrosity.

It also has a Toyota RV8K engine in the back - originally for Formula Nippon and also used in Super Formula, then used in the Lexus SC in Super GT GT500, and finally used in Rebellion’s LMP1 car. (It’s also believed that the TS030 and TS040's engine is derived from this.)
Then, that car has a Camry Hybrid’s main electric motor mated to the (6-speed sequential) gearbox to make it a hybrid. The other car in the same team has a Prius c’s motor instead.
