It’s nice to see Oppo has become more accommodating of stanced cars. I’ve slowly started to like them more and more myself.

Can’t corner. Looks like shit. What’s the point?
Oh I guess it’s for all the advantages of eating tires, destroying hubs, and riding like shit for no gain in handling. It’s even worse when done to actual performance cars like that M3.

I can appreciate them aesthetically as long as I dont think about actually driving one because then that makes me angry. But they cant really drive worse than Classic American stuff since those drive like shit but look really cool too lol.
Yes I just compared this:
To this:
Both of which I’d never want to drive but could look at all day.

What if the stanced car had proper fitted tires and air suspension? It would drive normally and only look like that when parked.

I’m guessing you not a fan of drift cars either? It’s either stock, purpose built performance, or gtfo

Drifting is fine. Slamming has nothing to do with drifting. Maybe a bit of camber and drop. But never as much as flush stance cars. And definitely not those heavy ass chrome dish wheels. And fwd cars. It is posing, that’s all it is. It’s the automotive equivalent of wearing those high school yearbook tuxedo front cover clips out to a date.

I get you on the first car pictured but I wouldn’t call it posing until they start putting tow hooks, arrows to the tow hook, bolt in cages(because it’s never a real cage), racing harness, wings.
Until they start doing those things in my mind it’s just modifying for the fun of doing it. And of course because they think it looks good, its like having a vision of what a Kia could look like and making it happen.
It can be argued that Drifting is about looks aswell as performance. And there are plenty of slammed drift cars.
Unimportant sidenote: The cars pictured are the limit of what I can take in regard to stance, there’s a reason that there is not a bunch of camber and 11in wide wheels

Well yeah that is pretty cool. Expensive but at least I respect it. This is why im not totally against stance.

After seeing how TERRIBLE these are to drive on Roadkill but how much fun that suffering might be, these just make me laugh. They are allowable because the owner must really hate themselves to actually drive it very far.
