My friend and I did the Nebraska one earlier this summer, and it was one of the most fun things I’ve done in a car, even though our ‘79 Cougar crapped out after the first checkpoint.

32" out back... 28" up front... Locking transfer case, I see no problems with this at all. Nope, none. Should be totally maybe sorta kinda fine...ish.

They used the fixed window from the rear door to fill the gap between front door and tailgate-turned-rear cab wall.
Unfortunately, the passenger side seems to have fallen out, which leads me to wonder if the parts are actually fastened, or stacked up just so, almost in a Jeep-Jenga game.
