What beating a man at a different sport than he’s used to participating in proves. Wouldn’t that kind of belike bragging about beating MJ at baseball?

#1 McGregor ran his mouth a lot about winning.
#2 Mayweather is 40yrs old.

That people will spend a lot of money to watch people beat the shit out of each other.

One of my coworkers mentioned something about Mayweather only having a few fights left on this promotional contract and stuff like this is a huge pay day with minimal risk.

...the one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying.

#1 that’s the business. Nobody ever goes on record saying anything other than they’re gonna win.
#2 that still doesn’t make it an apples to apples fight. If anything that puts even more boxing experience in his arsenal

Both just saw an easy payday. I don’t know what to tell you if you thought sport had anything to do with this.

Well a lot of people are talking like this makes McGregor less of a fighter. He literally had half the weapons he usually does and only allowed 1/5 of the technique he’s used to.

Why do you think this fight was about proving something? This fight was about making money. I thought everyone knew this?

yeah, fight fans jump to bad conclusions.

It wasn’t about beating a man at a sport he doesn’t usually compete in. It was about Mcgregor talking a lot of shit about beating Mayweather at his own sport and Floyd then proved that wasn’t to be.
Also, above all that, it was about the money, shitloads of it.

That’s the game though. Who wants to watch an interview with someone who doesn’t think they’re gonna win?
