Frame is back to looking shiny and new. The truck was from near Chicago and had a bit of surface rust. Now that’s it’s down south, I figured it would be smart to get it POR-15ed. Now it looks shiny and new, and hopefully won’t suffer any more Toyota frame rust problems. Next up is tires and a 45k full service. The title also finally came through off the PO’s lien(thanks PNC) so now I can register it and legally drive it. Will have to say goodbye to the TDI which makes me sad.

Looks good. Being in what used to be a salt free state, I’m not too concerned. Colorado started using a brine solution this past winter, though.
