Saw one of these today - Saturn Relay. As you might expect with a U-body minivan (and a Saturn at that), it was making a horrible clatter, had some body damage, and one light was out.

Just tried strikeout text in the title for that. Bah. Humbug.

Unicode strikethrough marks work. Success!

The only reason I remember the Relay is because of a Doug article about CarMax from a few years ago.

There’s a green one in my neighborhood. I always wonder why when I see it.

There’s a Tempo in my town. It rarely moves and I think the owner might be crazy.

I mean, anyone who willingly owns a Ford Tempo in 2017 is either really, really old or totally crazy. Or, you know, both.

LOL
The first thing I notice on these is are the wipers sticking straight up? I swear, that seems to be the case on half of the ones I see.

I think it literally might have had up-going wipers.
Worst. Minivan. Ever.
A friend of mine has a Pontiac Montana that was basically gotten for free, was then steam cleaned inside for unspeakable filth, had a $600 head gasket job done, and then a whole series of minor cooling system fixes related and unrelated to the $600 head gasket job. Including one of the motor braces missing bolts. It then required a wheel bearing. And some motor mounts. Then it was backed into a post hard enough to destroy the rear left light, loosen the bumper cover, and so on - I mentioned that on here. So, hatch does not seal, and it also decided to fail another wheel bearing. Also, every fucking light on the dash is on.
No part has cost much over zero dollars, and it was essentially free and *STILL* it tries to find ways to make itself seem not even close to worth it. But hey - the wipers work.
So far.
Edit: it *does* have the middle row captain’s chairs. With a single sliding door, because schizophrenia.
