This is a sreen shot from an iPhone 6 that is supposed to be a 64 GB model. The About Screen indicates only about 12 GB available. This is a freshly restored iPhone with only a few apps installed. Why would this be the indication?

Looks like at the very least it thinks it is a 16gb model.

Probably because I suspect it is not a 64gb model. All 16gb iPhones I ever owned always had somewhere between 11 and 12 gb as usable capacity.

How can you tell? When I search up the IMEI, it tells me 64 gb.

No idea what IMEI is, but Google that model number. It’s 16G, and the OS is taking 4G.

It was sold to me as a 64 GB, but too long ago for me to do anything about it. And I think my iPhone experiment will wind up lasting just long enough for me to choose another Android phone...

Model number reads as 16GB, which is more reliable than IMEI. They duped you. :/

You have a 16 GB phone, which as you know is about next to useless in modern times.

Swappa. I bought it some time ago for my daughter and she used it for a long time before she figured out something was up. I’ve been a die-hard Android user and I am going to get serious about finding another ‘Droid with a better camera. Moto G or a Pixel, I expect.

Do you know if tmobile and verizon networks are compatible? My iphone 6 is a 64gb but it got fucked up. I think I got like oil or something in the cracks and it got stuck in a boot loop. If the verizon sim card works with tmobile i could wipe it and send it to you.

I did not mean to suggest that it was, though I can see how someone might jump to that conclusion. I have always been an Android user and my earlier posts address that. I was trying this phone in large part
because
it was supposed to be 64 GB.

Good advice. My trust level is pretty high with Swappa, which is why I got duped this time. That, and the fact that my daughter did not report the problem to me for months.

That’s how I score pretty sweet deals for laptops in a way.... I always punch in the model #s in the parts lookup (eg. Dell, HP, and Lenovo) and it’s a surefire way to ensure you get the display you want

I think both are great, actually. The phone is almost 2 years old, and I get an easy full day out of it, unless I’m heavily using it for games and such, as one would expect.
The camera is pretty awesome! Not as good as the Pixel, but great anyway. And I love the 240 FPS slo-mo.
