That electric plug does not look anything like an actual charging plug that I’ve ever seen...
I thought I’d try something a little different here.
The rules are simple. I’m looking for:
Three motor vehicles
Designed to run on an energy source that is over 50% of something that isn’t gasoline or diesel, from the factory
Each using a different energy source
Note that some fossil fuels are OK - natural gas and coal are quite fine, for example. For other liquid fuels, E85 or E100 flex-fuel vehicles are OK, but something that takes B20 biodiesel is not. (And unless you’ve got an Elsbett engine, nothing’s designed to take WVO.) And, of course, hydrogen and electric vehicles are OK for this.
Oh, and if you pick a plug-in hybrid, I’ll allow it, but it counts as a plug-in electric car, so no picking another battery electric vehicle.

I’ll have a ‘40s style belly tank racer modified to fit a CNG bladder, because it’s already sort of built as a pressure vessel and WE DIE LIKE MEN
I’ll have a 1910 Stanley Steamer because why the fuck not:
And a Cadillac ELR - not because it’s really that great, but because it *is* more premiumer than a Volt. Plus, it will be ripe for customizing insanely.

Nice mix, and you’re a little better equipped for hauling things than me. On the other hand, I bet a belly tank racer is more thrilling/terrifying in the “sports” slot than the Model S.

- Tesla Model X to haul the family around
- A methanol powered 4-stroke go-cart to commute in for summer
- A canola oil powered Hilux for hauling other junk/commuting in winter.

I’ll take a new-ish Silverado and put e85 in it because factory flex fuel.
A CNG Civic
And I guess a P1. Because it has an electric range.

I was stipulating that since it was already a pressure vessel adapting it to CNG would be easy, but it’s sort of a cheaty answer.

Luxury cruiser: Doble steam car
Sports car: Porsche hybrid (yeah yeah not much of a sports car but I don’t care!)
Just because I need something as a DD CNG SUV:

Hold up one second.
The White Model M was designed to use only gasoline, per this document . Try a different steam car? Otherwise, I like it.

I did say “from the factory” for a reason. The Hilux is denied, and were there any go-carts that used methanol from the factory? (I did say motor vehicle, street legality (or even being a ground vehicle) isn’t required. For instance, someone used a motherfucking space shuttle.)

Sorry, the belly tank racer isn’t factory.
I think I’ll allow the Stanley Steamer, as it appears that a 1910 runs on kerosene (diesel #1), not what’s commonly known as diesel fuel, diesel #2. And, the ELR of course qualifies.

And the Porsche was a plug-in, too. The Doble steamers were apparently designed to use kerosene, but I did decide that that’s OK, because I didn’t explicitly exclude it in the OP.

OK, here we go for my own entries. Let’s just go batshit insane from the start, and go batshit all the way through.
SHTF mobile: Beetle with wood gas generator (wood fuel) - as far as I can tell, this was actually factory:
Two wheels good: 1896 Roper Steam Cycle replica (coal fuel) - notable not only for being batshit insane, but being the motorcycle design on which the first motorcycle fatality occurred (heart attack at an alleged 60 mph) - charcoal is used in the video, but it was designed for coal:
Something that’s actually relatively reasonable on the energy front, yet somehow still batshit: The Flux Capacitor. Yes, that’s ridiculously modified, but it’s the same fuel type as the Enfield 8000 that it’s based on - plug-in battery electric:

“His 1909 White Model M Steam Car would change hands several times in the following years.” Second to last sentence. Also Hagerty did a YouTube video on it about a year ago.
Where did you find that neat old thing about the White company?

I was googling around and found that, trying to find what it used for fuel. And, I think the document was about the White Model M as in the model, not that specific car.

I had missed the “factory” mention, being tired, but for all that, running on methanol would qualify. Also, if one is making one’s own belly tank racer, the definition of who the “factory” is is rather fluid...
