Please conduct a test of the “drop top 1/8 of a mile.” As in when the light goes green, you have to lower the top while accelerating. If the process stops because you hit too high a speed before the top is stowed, you have to start over from the beginning.
This is a serious performance metric for vehicles in this segment...

Isn’t that an absurdly big and inefficient engine for a cab? I believe most taxis are E200d or E220d versions.

18 mpg is bad for a anything Now is this was a cabriolet “can” *hint hint* the V8 is a fantastic option that lets you hear all the V8 goodness

This is a 25 mph top operable car but I can tell you the 0-60 is very, very fast.

It’s the opposite, an E250 Bluetec 4Matic, I suppose the slowest W212 sold on this continent. But it still moves along, and I enjoy 45+ mpg on the highway.
My car a couple cars ago was a W210 E55 AMG, I know all about eating tires :)
