No markings other than hidden red and blue lights, no plates, no stickers, and the cops weren’t in uniform. Also the car in Front has CA plates and this is in Nevada, it also has no official markings and a set of family stickers on it.

I’m going with nope, but I’m sure as hell calling 911.

NOPE. They can get a black and white after me if they are serious.

Nope. I’ll take the chance that they’re cops over the one that they aren’t.

Not until I called 911 myself and verified what the hell was going on

After calling the police and confirming if they were police, yes.

Definitely special operations vehicles. Not used for pulling people over usually and when they are, they usually are accompanied by marked cars.
Still, if one tried to pull me over, I wouldn’t pull over. Minimal lighting and equipment is always sketchy.

Fuck no. That looks sketchy as fuck. I’d be calling 911 right away and make them send out a marked unit.

Also: if this happened to me and the dispatcher said it was an officer I’d make them read back my plate, the RO, and the address of record from the plate. If they can do that, then I know the officer behind me is legit.

We have a couple of cars like this around the Portland area. Pretty sure they are not state or county police. I want to say DEA maybe because when I saw them they were definitely raiding a house. The ones I saw around here were a Sentra and an Outback.

If it was Europe, yes. As it’s America, I’d put on my hazards, reduce speed slightly and call 911 to confirm who they were.
Because if they aren’t police I ain’t stopping and if they are police I don’t want to give the officer any more reason to get out his gun and/or shoot me.
Unmarked police cars come in many forms over here.

Is that an unmarked WRX police car? Holy cow that’s really camouflaged into traffic

Our local CO’s and various LEO’s drive big four door 1500's. So it’s a yes from me since they aren’t all marked.

Ye’, certain cars go through phases here.
Other popular cars are Ford Focus STs. In hatchback and estate form.

Probably? But, I would also let them know that what they’re doing is highly unprofessional.

I’ve seen a few sneaky ones down here in Phoenix. A 2 door Jeep Cherokee XJ once, no joke.
Just today I saw this bro mobile

Very small department or very sneaky department? I used to know someone that was the chief of police for a small town near me. Their budget was so small that in lieu of a cruiser for himself they installed a flasher system similar to what volunteer fire departments sometimes use. The siren itself was from an old ambulance. Granted he didn’t use it for traffic enforcement.

We don’t do brotrucks here but we do have Ford Rangers and Nissan Navaras.
We do have Ford F450s here in the form of bullet proof Jankels.
But they aren’t exactly discreet or unmarked.

Wow, those are pretty unnoticeable! Except for that last one. That looks mighty stout.

The Jankel Guardians tend to be used for riot control in London.
They can also be used for rapid entry (say through a first or second floor window (second and third floor in the U.S.)) by the tactical firearms unit.
Some forces like Manchester prefer the old Land Rovers.
The CTSFO (Counter Terrorism Special Firearms Officers) are the ones to be aware of.
They don’t stand out till they want to.

In Indiana, an unmarked car can only pull someone over if the officer is in full uniform. We are seeing a lot more unmarked trucks here too, though. They hide in construction zones doing spreed trap duty.

Hawaii, yes. Other places, call 911 and wait.
