Image from Wikipedia but it’s super close to the actual car. Black over whatever Volvo called beige leather. Its the base trim but I am okay not having to worry about an aging turbo.
It’s not brown, a manual, or a diesel but I will once again have a wagon damnit. I have a deposit on it until I get my insurance payment.

What year? I want one of those too, but only the turbo’d one.

2005, I wanted something different to replace a 2007 Corolla that someone totalled for me.

Wagon is *always* the answer. Mine has a V8 ;)

Nice. That starts the years with the good transmission. I have a bit of a Volvo fetish, so I think you made a good choice.

I have a 2001 V70 T5 with the Bad Transmission. Everyday is a new adventure, but I really love this car.

This one has lived its whole life in the DC Metro area as a commuter but doesn’t have the door dings or bumper scuffs to show for it.

I don’t have much experience with Volvos, but I sat in one of these once and was struck by how nice it was.

This is solid budget dad-mobile-ing.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure how much it would hold up comparing it to slightly newer outbacks but it wasn’t even close. Most of the outbacks I looked at had failing interior trim pieces in addition to more miles. It even has an aux port for the radio.

I don’t know enough about Subarus to speak intelligently about Subarus ... but I know enough about their head gaskets to be scared of them.

The other car I was considering was a 2007 outback in pretty good shape but it had 160k on the clock and that looming headgasket/timing job was sitting in the back of my head going no unless this is amazing deal.
