So the episode ends with a shot of Jon Snow and his band of misfits and I was thinking, “What a ragtag group of heroes” Then I found this, which sums up everything quite nicely.

But isn’t he (lord) commander or king instead? Naw. Ranger might be closer, unless they meet up with Coldhands/Benjen, that would put the ranger role firmly elsewhere.

Yeah I guess he’s actually Lord Commander since he was voted for. I don’t recognize him as a king since the North just went, “Yeah, sure, you’re the new king.” I would argue only Cersei is a monarch since she was actually crowned Queen.
