Went to Grand Rapids cars and coffee on friday night. My FoST got some looks, which considering there were NSXes and Ferraris and lambos, wasn’t bad. But rather than photo dump potato pics of the event, I just wanted to give a shout out to the vast number of some quality custom license plates. I know there were some duds but they were outnumbered by the good ones. Here’s my favorites. I think the one that I loved the most was “UNSTABL” on the V-series, but “TOYSRS” was pure gold too.

That’s all I hear every time I hear that name.
That, and “DRINK!”

My liver hurts and my mouth tastes like southern comfort, jack daniels, and root beer whenever I hear this song.

But I thought we were supposed to be against vanity plates? I’m so conflicted.

I’m not a fan of vanity plates that are like “FERRARI” or “TSLA” or “MYTOY” or “I11I1I”. You know, the ones that are unoriginal or dumb. Or just not fun. I like these because they have a sense of humor about the whole thing. A little bit of cleverness was involved for most of these and they’re just plain fun.

I saw an FD3Cs this weekend on an FD.
and one that was some form of toothless on a black RX8.
Saw a fake vanity plate that said JUAN JZ on an FB RX7.

I’m thinking about building a tire trailer for my Miata. Trying to come up with a creative vanity plate for the trailer. But I feel like most plates end up being really cheesey or just plain dumb. These ones you found though truly are gold haha.
I really like the corvettes ive seen with “CAPT SLO” or the Miata that said “S2K LOL”.

I’ve stared at the second one for quite a while and still can’t figure it out. I’m probably missing something painfully obvious.

I like vanity plates. I probably wouldn’t ever have one just because it makes you a little too memorable when you’re trying to be low key.

Why? Vanity plates are great as long as you can tell what they’re supposed to say.

RKT = Wrecked so my assumption is it’s a slight play on WRX. Or maybe it was a salvaged car so it was once “wrecked”? It’s the weakest one on this post, but it still beats “MY TOY” on a corvette

I was being facetious I actually like them a lot especially when they’re clever. I just said that because a lot of people here whine about vanity plates lol

I think it is supposed to be Rocket Wagon. Nevermind the fact that that was the generation where the Wagon was replaced with the hatchback.

Was the subaru lowered, cambered and with crappy oversized wheels?
If so I would assume they were going for “wrecked wagon”
“ruining” your car is in vogue unfortunately
