S P O R T I N O ! Oops I mean SPORTIVO
I’ve never knew that having a clean engine bay could be so... satisfying. Shine on, you fuel-guzzling inline 6.

I admit, my lower body covering is slightly less comfortable than it was before this image.

once there was this space lobster who bought a lexus sport cross and wouldn’t shut about it....

Inline 6's are the bestest. While they suck gas they also deliver a fantastic sound and have this thing called torque which escapes most modern engines. Sorry to pollute your post with this Nissan goodness, L24 FTW.

The torque is nice and torquely.

Not as clean, but Japanese inline 6's unite!

There’s a conspicuously empty space between the right strut tower and the block where the turbo belongs...

What happened, Zoidberg? You used to be cool. Now it’s all opulence.

I promise you it’s worth it and you will not regret the purchase. Will help with MPG. Personal experience on several IS and GS 3000

Too much ChrisFix?

What kind of economy are you getting out of it? Through over 12k miles on mine I’ve averaged 26.4 MPG.

Only driven 2ish full tanks. Got 20, then 16. To be fair I’ve spend literally... LITERALLY... hours sitting in traffic over the last 500 miles

Thanks man!

16 is almost as bad as the M3. I think I got right around 15.5 MPG when I was living with my parents in the suburbs of ATL.

Yeah the only reason I can own this thing is because I commute in a company vehicle. 16 mpgs on premium fuel for 8 hours a week of sitting in traffic would be a solid “NO”
![]() 08/14/2017 at 19:35 |
|
Yeah I understand that. I drove a company truck at my old job and I have a 70 mile rural interstate round trip now.

I used to love my college commute.... 75 miles, no traffic, 70 mph (using air quotes), easy, fun, stressless.
Now I commute 9 miles and it can take 45 minutes and it is NOT fun nor stress free.
![]() 08/14/2017 at 19:39 |

Apart from taking 45 minutes each way, it really isn’t a bad drive.

I said I’d never move from this area, but I don’t know man, I need some goddamn space.

Yeah I feel you on that one. I want to make a change myself, but I don’t know what I want to do.

Take the K&N filter out, it just makes things worse. It can also destroy that expensive MAF.
