It has 169,509kms/105,328mile. So either I just had the 100,000mile service, or it did not.
Red, V8, manual, AWD, wagon. Gimmie.

Sigh, these aren’t time bombs.
You don’t buy an Audi if you can’t afford to maintain an Audi. If you can’t afford to maintain an Audi properly, yes it will likely break.

Case in point: You drive a Toyota now

And hope the previous owner maintained it as well...

$10k for a timing chain ever 150k miles is a little harsh though.

I have a super frugal co-worker that is interested in a 2005 RS6 for sale.
I respond “Uh these are high maintainece and typically really costly.”
“How much worse than a regular car?”

Well, for the price of my Tacoma I could have had one of these and maintained it for a few years. Alas, I’d just rather not have to spend that much money on a DD since I can only realistically own one car currently.

And your Taco will lose only 16 cents in depreciation

I saw the Ford logo and the longroof and thought “Wow, someone managed to import a Mondeo Estate and some dealer is selling it! The manufacturer/government is sure to seize that time bomb!”
Then I saw that it was an audi.
Not a Mondeo/Fusion wagon.
I’m not sure which is more disappointing.
Also: CP.

The first-gen Mondeo debuted in November 1992, so we are mere months away from being able to import one legally:
Yeah, it’s not quite as nice as the current gen...

Really?! $10K for a timing belt? That is NOT OK.
