That’s the reason 95% of them are bought. Hell, here in NoVa you see full $10k build because we “get so much snow” or “you just never know”.

I’ve actually considered getting a base JKU Sport just because 4-door convertible, my kids love them, and they have good resale. The Outback is paid off and it would make fun 3rd car for our weekend trips to the beach and just tooling around on back roads. A 2.0T would be fine with me. I’m fully aware that I’d probably find out it really wasn’t so cool after a year or two, but as long as other people are willing to pay obscene prices used for that same experience it doesn’t seem like too bad of a deal.

I see nothing wrong with that. they make different trim levels for a reason.

not in the mountain west I can tell you that, but outside of the hotspot areas, yeah.
