The weird Recaros would have to be replaced pretty quick with E30 sport seats, and the back end is riding too high, but it’s a euro E30 with the engine I want, in a nice colour. Too bad I don’t have $5k US lying around for E30 purposes, or a passport to go get it.

I’m doubting if it is a euro car, a true euro car wouldn’t have the side marker lights. (Or would they have had to fit those when bringing it to the US?)

Ya I thought only the 318i came factory with the battery in the engine bay. Possibly a euro thing, but it doesn’t look factory to me.
