Read “50,000" as I turned into the office this morning. Perfect timing.
I stopped on the access road to the office before to make sure it didn’t roll over 1 by the time I parked. Not sure what the heck happened when I took the picture, maybe glare or something, but this is what I got.
Strange balance.
Oh well.

Nice! Mine hit 56k sometime last week....and with the car paid off, no more warranty on the car, and a side job wrapping up and putting some extra money in my pocket, I’m strongly considering a couple of mods for it.

What? No shots of the odo? I only put 4k on mine in the year that I owned it. At that rate, 12.5 years to hit 50k!

How many years did it take to get to 50k?
I’m sitting under 12k after 2.5 years in mine. I feel like I should drive more, but have no reason to do it.

I really need to see where I stand on my payments...
City parking has really impacted the exterior, literally. I think my first thing would be a repaint, then exhaust, intake and eventually a tune. Figure I have a little while to go before I reach that point, though.

Just tipped the 4 year mark during Fourth of July weekend. In my first two years I had probably 20k on it but my last two years were a new job with about 50 miles a day. Add in a couple out of state trips and you get to 50k much faster.

My paint is actually in pretty decent shape, currently planning to pick up a CNT exhaust, and a Stratified tune....as well as a new carpet kit for the Miata, cause holy hell it’s bad. And dude, it is such an awesome feeling sending that last payment, and getting the title in your hands.

Honestly, no issues with it in and of itself. All problems have been external influences.
- someone stole my passenger mirror
- someone hit my car when parked at the airport
- tow truck cracked my rear fender, but I couldn’t prove it
- someone backed into my car, scratching the hood (was a truck)
- car got broken into
City parking has really fucked with the exterior. Hit a couple nails. Haven’t been able to address the couple minor recalls because dealers weren’t prepared. The car itself? Solid through all seasons.

I can’t wait for that.
I said I would run this into the ground when I bought it so once it gets towards the end of its lifecycle it will be reincarnated as a dedicated track/rally car. Stripped interior, rollcage, zero fucks.
