There was a massive fire that burned up a bunch of cars in Wisconsin back in 99-2000 in a small town. I believe it was a private collection though. I had a friend who worked with them, and I guess since most of them had fuel, the fire department wasn’t able to handle it and was forced to let them burn out. He said it was heartbreaking to hear the tanks blowing and you knew that was just another car lost.
