Xida 3-way adjustable coilovers installed!
Dropped 2 inches from stock ride height, I’ll probably lower it another .75 in the front, .5 in the back. Currently driving around with compression and rebound set to full soft.... MOTHER OF GOD. It’s like riding in a brand new Buick, that can somehow corner on a dime, with next to zero body roll. Full reciew coming soon. For now... Check out dem helper springs
Best part? Ride hide can be adjusted by hand, no spanner wrench/hex keys required.

It looks amazing, hopefully the mountain runs are still possible with the ride height

There’s a 3 inch lift kit (basically a puck) that I’ll put on when I do any offroad stuff. Eventually I’ll get a dedicated wheel/tire combo for snow and offroading too!

I’m assuming the wheel hop is gone.

This is amazing I’m jealous. I really want another NA my NC just doesn’t do it for me anymore. I’d like a newer DD (hopefully a new si) and then an NA6 to go with it for fun.

Thank you. It’s coming along! Why the NA6 in particular?

I try to justify it by saying that Xidas with 50,000 miles still sell for 80% of their cost new on Miata forums.... But I’m never selling these haha
All this money put in the car and I still get dusted by a beat up Camry

No wheel hop. And as awful as the tires look.... There’s still gobs of grip, even without an alignment

I didn’t think your tires looked totally cooked as others said. I’ve done the same to tires and not had to many problems as long as it stayed dry.

80% of that price, I’d give it a try haha :)

I MAY have only shown the front tires last time. Dry huh. At 52 days—and counting—we’re at record time without rain so no problems there

I may consider something like that at some point. I have the Flyin Miata Sport Coilovers on now and they’re... okay. I was looking for something a bit more stock-like in terms of softness. It’s not them.

Yeah I know, I’m in northwest Montana and it is dry as hell. Maybe some rain early next week but this is the driest I’ve ever seen it.

Because lightness, my old na was a ‘90 with a franken 1.8 swap, but this time I think I’d just want booooooooost and while not being a huge Miata guy I’ve heard the 1.6 is stouter.

Set with a fairly low ride height, and low compression/rebound these will absolutely blow stock suspension out of the water. If you raised it to the highest ride height possible (a hair below stock ride height) I can only imagine the ride would be that much better. This is with the 700/400lb springs and 200tw tires. I may get 550/300lb springs at some point to really try going towards comfort.
Simple knob adjustment brings them up to track destroyer levels. Only downsides I’ve seen so far are the price, and getting used to a somewhat low car.
