...you would see that green arrow blinking rapidly.

Same deal here. Suffice it to say, this lamp isn’t the problem.

Kinja'd!!!

Bingo! It’s this one.

Kinja'd!!!

Before unscrewing the lamp housing, I find it easier to check for power underneath here first.

Kinja'd!!!

Oh hai there

Kinja'd!!!

Off with the lamp housing.

Kinja'd!!!

Hmm, got power going into the lamp housing...

Kinja'd!!!

*Wiggles the bulb a bit* Huh! just a loose connection!

So I popped the bulb out anyway, cleaned the old grease out, and put it back in with fresh grease. Good as new-ish!

Kinja'd!!!

That was easy.

I need to learn how to do that.

When I worked at a Chevy dealership (12 years ago) the techs would do this or replace that whole board regularly. Easy money.

Yeah, I hear these boards go bad a LOT. Sooner or later, I’m sure I’ll have to replace mine, too.

In this case, that old grease was almost solid . It was like clay. Come to think of it, I might as well re-grease the other bulbs before another light “goes out”...
