1. On Aug 19th, there are 2 Ferrari events - !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Concorso is $175.
Barnyard is $50 (and in an outdoor shopping mall? so I don’t have high hopes)
2. And of course, there’s the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca.
I was very keen on seeing 250 GTO in person. Maybe even on the track. Sadly, it is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Nevertheless, General Admission is available and $150 for 2 or 3 days (18th, 19th and 20th).
Has anyone attended these events and are any of them worth it?
If you know of other paid events that are worth it also, let me know.
3. Sadly, I have to leave on the morning of the 20th - when the actual Concours happens! So I don’t even have the option of biting the bullet and paying the whatever $400 and comically patterned golf pants it takes to be on the grass.
I know there’s a dawn patrol. Where do they drive through? I’m not a morning person but maybe I’ll try my gosh darn best lol

I went to some sort of historics based around the time of the Pebble Beach Concours at laguna seca as a child. I don’t know what my parents paid but they had a friend who was racing a Cobra so we met up with them and got to walk around the paddocks. We also could go right up to the fences for the track in places.
This was 20+ years ago so I’m sure things have changed a bit though. Probably one of the greatest experiences of my childhood. I’m sure I would appreciate some like that even more as an adult now though.
Sorry I couldn’t provide a more relevant perspective about what a pass to the Motorsport reunion entails.

Apparently Team Petty Cash has restored a Street Comanche to Archer Bros SCCA spec, and will be displaying it at Pebble Beach. I’d say that’s worth going to see!

I think that’s the Motorsports Reunion.
I believe they sell the General Admission tickets and another $30 ticket for some sort of special access.
So that’s what this might be. Maybe I’ll go there on Saturday :)
Thanks for sharing your experience.

Can’t say when exactly. It’s part of the Concours D’elegance apparently.
Although when I went looking for that... There’s been an update.
Lol. But you should still come check out the Concours d’LeMons

Lol I’ll look into it :D
But if I could, I’d pay the $400 just to laugh at the other people’s reactions when they pull up on the grass in their Comanche, next to like a 12 million dollar Tipo 31 or some shit lol

Yeah I was a little confused when they said the we’re going to pebble beach. I was almost expending a prank of sorts. Like, it’s cool, but not quite at that caliber.

Technically, they could jump the truck over the fence and crash the party. I would accept that alternative also.
