Because cleaning means I would have to take out the garbage, and taking out the garbage means that I would have to find some pants.
But no cleaning means no new refrigerator, so I guess I’ll have to track down some pants or something...

There’s this great stinger in a Malcolm in the Middle episode where Hal goes to change a lightbulb. He goes to get a lightbulb and the cabinet has a loose screw, so he goes to get a screwdriver to fix that, but the tool drawer is squeaky, so he gets in his car to go buy WD40, but he starts the car but it starts making a clunking noise. The next shot is of him dropping the engine of his car while his wife, Lois, comes out to ask why he hasn’t replaced the lightbulb in the hallway yet.

I’m still surprised by how smart it is. I remember when it was first running on TV, I just dismissed it as some show for stupid kids.
At this point, I’ve watched the whole run at least four times and it never fails to make me laugh.

I went to a convenience store in the middle of nowhere in West Virginia - it had a
Shirt, Shoes and Pants or Shorts Required
sign. I’m guessing there’s a story.

I vote for a kilt. It’s acceptable to go outside in but you’re not wearing pants.

At a thrift store years ago I grabbed what appeared to be workout shorts from the men’s shorts section. As it turns out they made a mistake in sorting and placed there what were called ‘skorts’, which are basically a workout skirt. I didn’t notice this until I tried to put my legs through the leg openings and discovered that there weren’t any. In retrospect, perhaps I should have kept them...

Ha! My wife is obsessed with those damn things. She’s actually a brand ambassador for a company called Skirt Sports that makes them. We have like 10 of them scattered around the house. Maybe I should grab one next time I need to take out the trash!
