Performance street-oriented vehicles modified for off-road use. Whether it’s true offroading, overlanding, or rallying.

When I stopped in marfa TX on my trip I saw a house that had AMC Matadors and first gen Plymouth Valiants.
Anyways I now have a need for a Matador.

I like those big gangster steelies on the first truck. I thought about getting those for my Town Car but they were pricey iirc.

Midsize sedans being turned into lowriders, usually 90's Honda Accords. The trend seems to be somewhat popular both here in the US and over in Japan (and at least a bit in Europe), where most Accords found on Goo-Net are lowriders.
And, they’re usually done just as well as your typical 60's Impala lowrider.
Japanese sedans in general seem to be popular for making lowriders, actually. Another common one is the smaller Civic.

Bah, everybody knows what my favorite ‘weird’ vehicle is :P
Otherwise? Hmmm...
I do like the Polish
FSR Tarpan
, built from ‘72-’94 - it’s an agricultural pickup truck based on the FSO Warszawa, but its got some really cool design traits. There were van versions, but the pickups had a moveable rear cab wall that could be adjusted for either cab seat space for more passengers, or extra bed space for increased cargo capacity...
They have a cool old mechanical vibe to them - old workhorses. Borsuq tells me there aren’t many left in Poland because they were all literally used to death.

I have a thing for supped up mini trucks
Should I have been able to keep my 02 S10 as a project along with buying my Silverado, I wanted to put an EcoTec 2.0T in it, a manual rack and pinion, lower it, and all sorts of other things.

Bags are a really good compromise and with the right management can actually do well on track. A bagged STI won the street car class at Global time attack last year at road atlanta. I wouldn’t go static on a car unless I really didn’t care. A bagged M3 (really any generation) would be an awesome weekend car.
