Uh. I can explain.

See, there was this dog. A lab. A black lab. A happy black lab. Very friendly, absolutely loved me. Unfortunately... Not the brightest dog. While I was outside cleaning this window, the lab was inside—saw me—and ran headfirst into the pane. Ouch...

Thank God the homeowner was there watching, because there’s no way I could have convinced him otherwise.

Sorry doggo. I hope your head feels okay

An old neighbor’s great dane broke the windshield of his van (and not from being flung into it in a crash, just from being big and stupid), so I believe it.

So does that make today a bit of a wash?

But hey, that’s probably a good sign of the quality of your work!

As somebody who has had a Great Dane believe, they are WONDERFUL dogs but they are also incredibly dumb.

an old friend of mine had a great dane and a hotdog dog. the great dane wanted a food hogdog so he had his front legs on the picnic table and rears on the bench. the bench overturned and turned the hotdog dog into a sausage patty.

As a long time owner of Black Labs I can assure you that they would most likely understand if they weren’t there.

They were great for the first six months, but years later these window washing puns are a major pane.

And yes! I’ve had an old man call me—furious—saying he walked into a sliding glass door and that it was “my damn fault”. The wife didn’t tell him the windows were being washed I guess

I threw him a ball for a few minutes afterwards to make up for it

When we moved to Florida, our first house had a screened in porch. The first day we were there, the dogs were out lounging in the yard, and my Mom gets a bright idea: Excitedly call for the dogs. Didn’t matter that the door was open, both 80lb dogs come at a full run through two sperate screened portions. Latticework was put up the next week.

My dad did this to a screen door of my place about 10 years ago. He opened the door, left it open, I close the screen, then he walks right into it, ripping a hole and destroying the frame. It was kind of ridiculous.

You think you could put that in the testimonials for your... website? Flyer? I don’t know how you conduct your business.

As someone growing up without dogs, in a city where 1/3 of all households have at least one... It took me forever to realize what the lattice/grate things over the bottom of screen doors were for

For a second I read that as sausage “party”.
