Wanted to clear my mind. Worked pretty well.
Took the Flint Hills Scenic Byway for a little bit. Made a few stops to take in the scenery.
Pictures never really capture the serene beauty of the Flint Hills. In a picture it just looks like a pretty flat nothing, but in person the expanse is humbling. Rolling hills and grass as far as the eye can see, herds of cattle grazing beneath a sky so big it reminds you how insignificant we are in comparison to the scale of the universe.
The car remains a great cruiser, though why Ford insisted on putting 3.73s in with the Performance Pack is beyond me. Turns 2200 RPM at 80. My exhaust is a bit loud at that speed but at least it doesn’t drone too bad. It sure passes semis on two lane highways real nice though...

Is 2200rpm at 80 high? I dont even think my car would move at 2200rpm in 6th gear lol.
