Out as a volunteer on a patrol boat for Seafair today on the northwestern log boom. Spectator boats are still assembling on the booms.
Not quite this view, but close with some binoculars. Surprisingly quiet at the moment.

Seafair is amazing and all Oppos should make it a point to see the hydros.
F86 Fun fact: my wife and I were married the Saturday of Seafair weekend in Seattle in 2002. Our reception was at Salties on Alki. So, I can say truthfully that the Blue Angels flew at our wedding reception. It was amazing. We also took the bridal party down to Lake Washington for Friday practice.

I’ve been wanting to go for the past few years but the traffic/ amount of people is way too much to overlook.

I’ve always wanted to check out the races in Constantine, MI. I’ve past them while they were practicing a few years ago and I’d really love to see it live. It’s always intrigued me, I already missed his year, I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.

Was there this week and saw the airshow on Friday. Also toured a destroyer. Did not get a chance to see hydroplanes unfortunately. Definitely the best festival I have ever been too.

Going on a boat is really the best way. There’s a reason everyone seems to go that way if they can...
