I got to a point in my life where I realised that despite being a car lover from day 1, in my 25 years on this Earth I hadn’t actually done anything about it. Watching Mighty Car Mods and Roadkill had always excited me, but I’d never turned a wrench on anything but the dullest of dailies. It was time to change that.
Last year, I lucked out big time. My girlfriend owned a Subaru Brumby (aka BRAT) that had just been left to rot. I couldn’t think of anything more fun than trying to bring this little 4WD monster back to life. I booked some flights, took the time off work, and rounded up the boys. It was time to earn the title of Car Guy (TM).

Oh yeah, that’d be dope. You can drop an EJ in these with an adapter plate, but you’ll super quickly chew up the transmission even with an NA motor.
