Rsx type S wheels

The exterior condition is fair. But oh man it drives so well with the super light flywheel and short shifter. Drove 2 hours back late last night from Sacramento to Santa Clara. I could take the mountain curves on 680 at 90+ mph. The ATTS really, really makes a big difference. I now love torque vectoring differentials. This thing somehow rotates as easily as my Miata. It doesn’t feel heavy at all. At 200 hp and 3050 lbs, it sounds like those specs would just be meh, but it feels like whoa.

I finally got my old school Honda :) and it is just as good as I heard it was.

Also, yes VTEC just kicked in.

Yo

Solid choice! So is SH like the Civic equivalent of Si? Or is there also a Prelude Si?

There is only base and type SH but it isn’t like Civic to Civic Si.

The base and SH both had same engine. The differences are in the front suspension, some body pieces and spoiler, and the ATTS. Awesome active torque vectoring diff.

Is the ATTS prone to expensive failure? That shit seems like black magic to me lol.

It is, but when it goes it just shuts down. You can still drive the car just fine.

There was a Prelude Si for this gen, but only in Japan and Australia. And it was the slow base model.

Color me jealous. The 3rd and 5th gen Preludes are some of my favorite old Hondas, and I plan on picking one up as a mid life crisis car, assuming there are any decent ones left at that point.

I love this interior man. Always preferred these fuzzy suede seats over anything else. Grabs your butt in turns, doesn’t get hot or cold, easy to clean and hydrophobic, and dust doesn’t get on you.

The visibility out the sides and back is soooo much better than the Veloster. I can see everything! And the super low hood and thin A pillars gives such a good forward visibility too.

just one complaint is that they have a really bright red seatbelt warning lamp on the dash. I’m gonna cover it up with some black tape and it should be good.

Yeah, they’re nice seats. I think I’ll drive mine some this weekend. I’ve only driven it 3 times since I got the TSX. It feels like a go-kart in comparison.

Glad you’re enjoying the ATTS. The only SH’s i’ve been in have had it deactivated. I have a couple of parts for it if you want them...the control unit and the lateral G sensor.

If only you lived close by. Oh wow those two things would be useful for later for sure and I’ll contact you if I need parts when the ATTS inevitably goes. I thought instead of a gyro, they had a steering angle sensor?

You’re correct. Also, according to the OEM manual, it’s the yaw rate sensor that I have. It’s between the back seats and trunk.

Kinja'd!!!

I was going to link you the manual, but the link I have is dead. I could email it to you if you want.
