"gmctavish needs more space" (gmctavish)

I can’t remember the last time I saw one that even looked half as good. I’m vague tempted to buy it, but I couldn’t keep it undercover. It feels weird to say about an old Camry, but this thing deserves to be in a garage.

I don’t think they were that clean when they were new.

That’s a nice price, but I don’t think the V6s were as good as the I4s.

3rd year (I think) for the V6, 1st year of the belt buckle badge. Valve job might not be easy, and that V6 isn’t beloved, but it sure is cheap.

It’s a good thing that’s into in Norther Wi/Mn because if I was I’d be obligated to buy it. Wait that’s 850 Canukistan Passos, that’s like 600 freedom dollars. Holy hell thats a nice price.

Yeah I’m seriously considering it. I could collector plate it and insurance could be like $200/year

The reason you never see these, at least where I live, is that 80% of them have been stolen and chopped up, which is probably why half the ones that remain (the ones that live in locked garages) are so pristine...lots of cheap parts!

I have an ‘89 with the four-banger. Every time I think I’ve replaced the last thing on the car, something else presents itself. The ‘89 Camry was around $18.5k new, which, if I am correct, equates to over $30k in today’s dollars. Maybe even $35k. I remember well how people said, “They’re
so
expensive...” in the day. They were also the most-stolen, and even ours was stolen once by some joy riders who drove it six blocks and parked it, after taking my wife’s purse out of it. It’s been broken into once, as well. I’ve owned it for ten years and put over 100k miles on it and well maintained, it still drives like a dream. Truly a superb car.
