As I’ve said before, the E65 is an extremely under appreciated car. It looks nice. One of my dream cars as a kid was a 2004 745Li.

I almost bought an Oxford Green one the other day. It was in great condition, but somebody beat me to it because I had to stay half an hour late at work.

I’m still very sad about it.

It was basically identical to this, except it was a 540i Touring.

If I’d gotten out of work earlier, I would currently be posting updates on an ‘01 540i Touring on style 28s, but no.

Will I give up? No. If I find a good one at the price I found the original, I’ll go for it in a heartbeat if things check out.

Looking back, he really was. I didn’t like them when they were new, but they look spectacular now. They make the E46/E39 look almost boring.
