The first-gen Cayman has aged extremely well for a 12 year old car. That is all.

The only time it shows it’s age is when you look at it from the back and see the taillights aren’t LED

I love those wheels on pretty much every German car ever.

When I bought my A3 some years ago at Elite in Chicago area there was a black base Cayman for less that $1k more money. It had 3 times the mileage as the Audi. Common sense overruled my heart since I had 7 yrs more of driving before I can retire. I will look again at that point and maybe pick one up.

I wish they were as cheap as Boxsters :(

That’s because Porsche doesn’t change their designs. Ever. So it looks essentially the same as new Cayman.

If we’re gonna go waaay back, the Porsche 904 has barely aged too, and that car is over 50 years old.

And it also holds a claim to fame for being the first Porsche beaten by a Skyline in motor racing, starting the fierce rivalry between the two.

I was dreaming about buying one of these when I finally graduate from college the other day. I quite like them.
