Its time for my CBRs 2nd oil change. Ive already used my first at the dealer.
The frequency ill be changing it wont dictate using synthethic. Itd be a waste.
Anyone use Maxima oil in their bike, PWC, ATV/UTV?
I choose not to use Honda oil in it. Dealer wants 12 bucks a quart for regular old oil. Can pick up a gallon for 25 off Amazon.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Thats what i plan on using. Going to buy a couple gallons so I have it on hand for my next oil change.
Side note: Since taking delivery of my bike, I have not stopped riding it. Grab my bag, helmet, jacket and pants and ill be gone for the night or day riding.

Do it. I’ve used Maxima SynBlend in all of motorcycles for years and have never had problems. I’ve used the Premium4 before as well, and it is good too. I switched to the SynBlend because of its ether content. I was told that this helps better lubricate parts at cold start. Something about it “clings” to parts instead of fully draining back into the oil pain at shutdown. Either way you go, it is good oil at a great price.

I have used Motul 300v religiously in my RSV4. It’s expensive, green, and smells like bananas, but makes me feel better.

I switched out to the synblend. It was 4 bucks more so I grabbed it. Ordered the filter too. For 10 bucks its cheap insurance.
Id let the dealer do it but id be without it. And its been my main transportation since I got it.
