Over the last few weeks i’ve been considering trading in my GTI to get an M2. Well, i did it. Ordered a 2018 M2 in Long Beach Blue, 6 speed, no other options. I’m hopefully going to have the car in October but it could possibly be November. Looking to sell my GTI as is if i can, if not, i’m going to pull the aftermarket parts off and put all the stock pieces back on. Will sell the parts via GTI forums/Craigslist. I can’t wait!

Nice! Congratulations, and great spec. As an E90 M3 owner, the M2 is the only current BMW that has my interest - I could see myself ending up in one someday.

With the current mods on it I’m looking for $22k. Stock with no mods, $20k. I’ve taken great care of this car. Only has 10,800 miles.

He found an MK6 that was pretty much what you’re asking for. I mean, I love my MK6, but I wasn’t going to pay nearly $20k for it.
