I reported a pothole with my city’s 311 app, and it was filled the next day. A feeling of unlimited power!

I reported rusted culvert, that caused half corner to erode. I e-mailed the town ship, the next day the township got back to me & said crews went & looked at it. So I drove by it, there was orange cone & signs warning of it. A week later it was fixed.

You’re supposed to fill potholes? What an idea! I’ll have to let my city street department in on this.

Only 6,855,510 to go. Not counting those in the rich areas that people don’t want fixed.
Also, T.O.’s idea of “fixing” a pothole involves turning it into a speedbump and hoping traffic will flatten it out.

“OMG, you doing road work in front of my house. How dare you.”

I think it’s more that it discourages people from using the road as a through road without ugly/annoying speed bumps.
