Lebanon Police department hosted the “National Night Out”. A community event. They showed off local and county vehicles. I thought you guys would enjoy some pics!!
My baby, Olivia sitting by the fire truck tire for scale.
I thought it was great that the fish & wildlife truck was the only “dirty” vehicle there!
Police Bikes!
The famous Ralph J. Stolle Countryside YMCA located in my beautiful and historic hometown of Lebanon, Ohio!

All of the vehicles were open to the public. Including the care-flight helicopter (which I couldn’t get a good photo of due to the mob of people around it)

Do they do this every year? This is close enough to where I live that we may have to make a trip next year

Yes! This is an annual event. It was really fun! It was a HUGE crowd but it wasn’t a bad thing. I recommend going. There was much more to the event than what I’ve posted.

Nice. We recently had a “Touch a Truck” event in Flagstaff. The SWAT truck is, if I recall correctly, a TopKick 5500 4x4. Pretty cool. They had everything from a pest removal Nissan Frontier with a service body to a giant garbage truck and a city bus size bookmobile. Oh, and a Search and Rescue Snocat.

I agree!
*however: My local police Dept having them makes me a bit uncomfortable. When I was a kid...our police cars were green. And they were all the old ford sedans. They were unassuming and non threatening. These new all black, high tech police vehicles seem a bit too “gestapo” for my taste.
