In today’s update from my office parking lot, here we have a Triumph TR3. It has a tonneau cover over the passenger seat, and assorted historic racing stickers on it including something about Elkhart Lake, home of Road America.
(The crane in the background is because they’re replacing the aluminum panels along the outside of our building.)

Vintage British racing car? Elkhart Lake? Any Peter Egan sightings?

I’m in Madison. Google tells me he lives in Stoughton which is a sorta-kinda-not-really suburb of Madison. But since I work at a medical device manufacturer, I’m fairly certain he’s not an employee here.

He really did. I attribute a good part of my love of wrenching on and driving cars and motorcycles to hours spent reading his columns and articles in R&T as a kid. Leanings 1&2 occupy a position of honor on my shelf
CaptDale - is secretly British
