LOL, I came here to post a ‘what’s Oppo drinking’ thread but you beat me to it.
Well, I got a pretty substantial bonus, so I decided to splurge and pick these up:
I’d heard lots of guys talk about how much they liked Green Label so I’m giving it a shot. The Great Divide Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale was just an impulse buy. I’m waiting for Great Divide to put out my favorite seasonal beer next week, Hoss Oktoberfest Lager. I don’t think I’ll drink the beer tonight, but you never know.
I poured a glass of the Green Label and I’m surprised how subdued the smell is. Had a taste, and I think it was a mistake to buy it. It’s damn good. DAMN good.

Sometimes you gotta splurge.

Wrong corker you’ve got there.

Water. Still feeling the effects of a lovely two-day hangover from Friday night.

I started drinking at about 11 AM yesterday, didn’t have anything to eat until like 5, I feel your pain.

True. I am a bit afraid to try Blue now because this stuff is so good. I don’t get to splurge much.

When I was in oil, I used to splurge a lot. I really like champagne and I really hated my life, so I might have developed a champagne habit. Once you try the good stuff, nothing else will suffice.
I had this for my 25th birthday, it was incredible.

Buy me a BMW one then.

I never developed a taste for Champagne, myself. But I did for Scotch, and that can leave you just as broke.

I am a jealous man. When I turn 25, I’ll buy myself a damn fine bottle of scotch as a gift. Until then, Bowmore will suffice.

Well, this bottle of Green was only $68. It wasn’t like it was totally out of my price range, but it was slightly more than I could justify on a regular basis. I’m gonna go ahead and say you should snag one.

Not a bad price. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Do. You won’t regret it. Black is my go-to drink of choice, but I’d be willing to scale WAY back to make Green the new champ.

A can of coconut La Croix I found whilst cleaning out the fridge. It’s not keeping things cool so I had to toss out most of the food, at least the open containers. The freezer is almost working, so I’d guess that it’s a broken internal fan just not getting to cold air to the fridge portion.
Thankfully I have a pretty large wine cooler that can double as a refrigerator in times like this. But this was a good opportunity to purge all the old stuff buried in the back. I even stumbled upon some Belgian ale I bought back in 2012...
