It was dead, in the 50kms I traveled on it, I saw one car... it was going the other direction.
My friend said in 20 years he has traveled it he has never seen cop on it. Doing 130kph on it felt slow, it was a undivided 2 lane. 130kph feels fast of undivided 2 lane roads normally. I was tempted to see how fast I could go before I had to slow down before a turn. The farther north you go in Ontario, the shittier the roads get.

You saw another car? By Manitoba standards that’s pretty dense traffic. I’ve driven the 120km from my parents house to my old place fairly often without seeing a single other moving car, and that’s including the fact I drove through four reasonably sized towns along the way.

This was bustling by comparison. 4 other vehicles. Not counting a rail crew in Ramsey, which is supposed to be a ghost town...
Also, it didn’t take the prescribed 4 3/4 hours
